Bio
Keith Weber
Guitar, Vocals
Keith got his first guitar at nine years old – and promptly put it down. Until he went to his first rock concert at 12. KISS. (Ask him the story – it’s a good one!) He’s been playing ever since. In college – way back in the 80’s – he was a deejay at a classic rock radio station which influenced his musical tastes to include Boston, Led Zeppelin, and Tom Petty. Over the years, and with his wife’s encouragement, he’s come to embrace new country artists like Old Dominion, Keith Urban, and Luke Bryan. Keith grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota, but having lived in Northern Colorado for thirty-six years, now considers himself about as ‘native’ as a Coloradoan can get.
John Lyons
Bass, Vocals
John plays guitar and mandolin, but his primary instrument is the bass, which he’s been jamming on for more than twenty years. Prior to coming to Colorado at the height of the pandemic, John played out extensively in a rock cover band and only slightly less so in an acoustic trio back in his native Wisconsin. He also played in a Jimmy Buffet cover band – which is why you’ll never see “Margaritaville” in our set list! John credits Geddy Lee of Rush, Led Zeppelin and Simon & Garfunkel among his musical influences, but has varied tastes including Blues and Irish Celtic. If you’re from the Milwaukee area, stop by and say hi!
Dana Burgess
Percussion
Dana’s mother knew he’d be a drummer based solely on how hard he kicked in the womb. Once released, he’s been playing drums and percussion for over fifty(!) years. Deciding to “keep it local,” he’s played for numerous bands in the Northern Colorado area, including gigs at the Greeley Stampede and most other venues in the area. As the owner of dbsoundprolive (dbsoundprolive.com), Dana’s been involved in music recording and production for over twenty-five years, including two CD’s – one rock, one country - that he both played on and produced. (“It’s own kind of trauma!”) His musical influences include Rush, Jethro Tull, and Dire Straits, but he’ll also credit everyone from Waylon Jennings to Howard Shore.
